ISD, we believe science is best learned by doing science. Our classrooms prioritize hands-on, active learning experiences that engage students in meaningful scientific thinking, exploration, and discovery. We want students to experience what it means to be a scientist. In elementary science (K\u20135), teachers use McGraw Hill Texas Science, a highly engaging, standards-aligned resource designed to support meaningful science learning. In secondary science (6\u201312), teachers use Savvas as our core instructional resource.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-28071f8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"28071f8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Both resources were selected by our Science Instructional Materials Subcommittee through a rigorous adoption process designed to identify high-quality, standards-aligned materials that meet the needs of RISD students and teachers. These partnerships provide teachers with the resources, content, and support they need to design and deliver impactful, engaging science experiences for every
