Through the Texas Instructional Materials Review and Approval (IMRA) process, the district evaluates state-approved instructional materials and how they support Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). The Content Area IMRA Committee is made up of teachers, campus leaders, instructional support staff representing all four learning communities, and parent representation\u00a0to review materials, participate in publisher presentations, evaluate samples, and curriculum vendors participate in a public viewing before and developing recommendations. These recommendations are then presented to the IMRA Central Committee, and ultimately to the Board of Trustees for approval.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5de2790 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5de2790\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFollowing adoption, RISD provides an extensive implementation and training plan to support educators in using the materials. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b98dcea elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"b98dcea\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" id=\"understand\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Understand What Your Student is Learning \n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f42525e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f42525e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFamilies play an important role in a child\u2019s learning journey.
