Want to Become An RISD Teacher?

What Is the Grow 2 Teach Program?
The Grow 2 Teach Program is exclusively available to Richardson ISD students who want to pursue a career in teaching and education. RISD high school students who successfully complete requirements within the CTE Teaching Internship program are eligible. Students meeting the requirements will earn a Letter of Invitation from the Richardson ISD Human Resources Department for a future professional teaching position.
After a student has attended college, earned a teaching degree, and become a fully certified teacher within five years of graduating from a Richardson ISD high school, the student is guaranteed a professional teaching position in RISD if district employment requirements are met.
