Profile Development\n<\/h3>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f703a0c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f703a0c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>At its March 2022 meeting, the<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/richardsonisdtx.swagit.com\/play\/03072022-524\/10\/\">RISD board of trustees voted to partner with engage2learn to facilitate the development of the RISD graduate profile<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 a document that will become a foundation of the district\u2019s upcoming strategic planning process, scheduled to take place during the 2022-2023 school year. engage2learn is helping the district facilitate community summits, create an online survey, and convene focus groups during the spring of 2022 as RISD moves to have defined competencies of the graduate profile by the end of the 22-23 school year.<\/p><p>The project consisted of three components: engage, design and create with the goal of creating a vision for learning for all students in RISD.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3108303 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"3108303\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">During the engage phase, the district hosted Summits, Focus Groups, and published an online survey which resulted in over 2,500 participants. The breakdown for each activity included:<\/h3>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4e9fac7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4e9fac7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li>Community survey participants \u2013 2,313<\/li><li>Focus group participants \u2013 71<\/li><li>Summit participants \u2013 182<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f0a6b42 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f0a6b42\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Data from the engage phase was shared with a district design team of RISD community members, parents, staff, and students who used the data to create a framework for action for the district. During the design and create phases, this team developed the profile framework including a set of beliefs, key components and learner outcomes for all students.<\/p><p>A draft of the profile was shared with the Board of Trustees at their May 23rd meeting and the final version was adopted by the Board of Trustees on June 6th.<\/p><p>The graduate profile is a document that includes the academic, personal and interpersonal competencies that all RISD students should possess upon graduation.
