At the Oct. 13 board meeting, trustees adopted the 2022-23 District Improvement Plan that Superintendent Branum said aligns and supports the annual continuous improvement process for the district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The District Improvement Plan is developed using results of the previous plan, state accountability performance and MAP scores, committee feedback, as well as staff, student, and community survey results and board goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Texas House Bill 3 requires school boards adopt detailed plans for student performance goals in third grade reading, third grade math and college, career, and military readiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trustees also adopted the Campus Improvement Plans for 2022-23 that will become the guiding documents that principals will use daily to continue to ensure all students connect, learn, grow and succeed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2017 Strategic Plan is 90% complete and it\u2019s time to finalize the 2023 Strategic Plan<\/p>\n\n\n\n

engage2learn<\/a> will consult on the process and help facilitate the design phase that is the next step. Strategic Plan 2023 will support the implementation of the recently adopted Graduate Profile, and establish goals, strategies and action plans to support the district\u2019s continuous improvement efforts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be multiple opportunities to support the development of the next Strategic Plan, and the district will share more information on these community engagement efforts in the coming weeks with the goal of presenting the proposed new plan to the board by the end of the current school year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
