{"id":26174,"date":"2024-04-04T07:53:02","date_gmt":"2024-04-04T12:53:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.risd.org\/home\/?p=26174"},"modified":"2024-05-16T11:56:27","modified_gmt":"2024-05-16T16:56:27","slug":"excellence-in-music-education","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/web.risd.org\/home\/excellence-in-music-education\/","title":{"rendered":"Excellence in Music Education","gt_translate_keys":[{"key":"rendered","format":"text"}]},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>For the 13th consecutive year, Richardson ISD is one of the&nbsp;best&nbsp;communities for&nbsp;music&nbsp;education&nbsp;in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Now in its 25<sup>th<\/sup> year, the Best Communities for Music Education designation is awarded to districts that demonstrate outstanding achievement in efforts to provide music access and education to all students,\u201d according to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nammfoundation.org\/what-we-do\">N<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nammfoundation.org\/what-we-do\/best-communities-music-education\">AMM Foundation<\/a>.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RISD Executive Director of Fine Arts&nbsp;Jeff Bradford said&nbsp;this is the 15th time overall that RISD has been recognized by the NAMM Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRichardson ISD continues to evolve and adapt to serve our students, families, and community in the arts,\u201d Bradford said. \u201cWe are proud of our music programs and the impact they are having across our campuses.&nbsp;RISD\u2019s music programs have continued to set the bar across Texas for more than 60 years.&nbsp;Hiring the very best educators, and giving them the tools to serve our 37,000 students will continue to be our priority.
