Spring 2024 State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) results were available to parents on June 7 and June 14:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

June 7<\/strong> – High School End-of-Course (EOC) results available<\/p>\n\n\n\n

June 14<\/strong> – STAAR grade 3-8 results available<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On those dates, RISD parents can access STAAR results through RISD\u2019s Focus Parent Portal using these instructions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log In to Focus Parent portal<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click My Child<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click Child Info<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Click Assessment Rpt Cards<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Scroll to Texas Test Scores<\/em> section<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Select Click here to go to the Texas Student Portal<\/em> (available in English or Spanish)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Parents without access to Parent Portal can visit our website for directions to create an account.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Reminder<\/em>: Individual student results of the past two years\u2019 STAAR tests should not be compared with previous versions of the STAAR assessment. The STAAR tests were redesigned by the state of Texas for the 2022-2023 school year, and the many differences between the two tests may impact a student\u2019s results. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Richardson ISD educators will review each child\u2019s performance on the STAAR test as one indicator of academic progress.  It is one of a variety of academic indicators used by RISD educators to monitor the growth of each student.  RISD will continue to use multiple data points to adjust instructional design to ensure every child is growing academically.<\/p>\n","protected":false,"gt_translate_keys":[{"key":"rendered","format":"html"}]},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
