initiative to promote a respect for others, a control of self, and the spirit of competition in high school athletics.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Texas High School Coaches Association and the Texas High School Athletic Directors Association encourage all coaches, athletes, officials and fans to improve the level of sportsmanship at UIL sporting events.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2words.tv\/\">2Words Character Development<\/a> stresses the importance of strengthening communities and the relationships between coaches, athletes, officials and fans.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Texas Way is a commitment to giving respect generously, handling adversity with class while keeping anger in check, and understanding that competition is more than the
