(The referral form will not accept responses once the window closes). &nbsp; Parents. please see below to determine if you should complete the referral form for your elementary school child to participate in testing for potential gifted identification.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Grades Kinder, 1, 3 and 4:<\/strong> Referral form required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Grade 2:<\/strong> Referral form NOT required.&nbsp; All RISD second grade students are universally tested.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Grade 5 in Lake Highlands Learning Community:<\/strong> Referral form NOT required.&nbsp; All LHLC fifth grade students are universally tested.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Grade 5 in Berkner, Pearce, or Richardson Learning Communities:<\/strong> referral form required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Grade 6 in Berkner, Pearce, or Richardson Learning Communities:<\/strong> referral form NOT required.&nbsp; All sixth grade students at elementary schools are universally tested.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>GT2 students:<\/strong> Students who are identified for GT2 services (30-45 minutes per week) may retest for potential qualification for GT3 services (2 hours per week).&nbsp; Referral form required for parent who would like their current GT2 child to test.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note: All grade 2 and 5 (Lake Highlands Learning Community) or grade 2 and 6 (Berkner, Pearce, and Richardson Learning Communities) students are automatically tested, including GT2 students.&nbsp; It is not necessary to complete a referral form for GT2 children if they are in these grades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Elementary testing occurs on each campus throughout the late fall and winter.&nbsp; To learn more about testing timelines, please read <a href=\"https:\/\/secure.smore.com\/n\/qgarm\">this newsletter<\/a>.&nbsp; Your campus&#8217; Advanced Learning Teacher will communicate specific testing dates with you as the testing window approaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kindergarten test results will be shared with families and campuses on February 28, 2025.&nbsp; All other grade level test results will be shared on March 7, 2025.&nbsp; Please be sure the email address on file with your child&#8217;s school is up to date to ensure you receive these
