{"id":39433,"date":"2025-10-10T08:43:07","date_gmt":"2025-10-10T13:43:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.risd.org\/home\/?p=39433"},"modified":"2025-10-10T08:43:49","modified_gmt":"2025-10-10T13:43:49","slug":"risd-board-reviews-fall-2025-map-results-and-campus-improvement-plans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/web.risd.org\/home\/risd-board-reviews-fall-2025-map-results-and-campus-improvement-plans\/","title":{"rendered":"RISD Board Reviews Fall 2025 MAP Results and Campus Improvement Plans","gt_translate_keys":[{"key":"rendered","format":"text"}]},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Richardson ISD Board of Trustees received a presentation at their October 9 meeting on the Fall 2025 Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) assessment results and reviewed Campus Improvement Plans (CIPs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Academic Growth Shown on MAP Assessment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fall 2025 MAP assessment, given to students in kindergarten through 8th grade, showed academic growth compared to the beginning of the 2024 school year. Growth was demonstrated across all student groups and demographics in all assessed areas: Reading English, Reading Spanish, and Mathematics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This improvement reflects the commitment of teachers and campus administrators to the district&#8217;s North Star Goal of ensuring every student meets or exceeds their academic growth targets through data-driven instruction and intentional interventions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Overview of Campus Improvement Plans<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tailored strategies used by campuses are formalized in their Campus Improvement Plans (CIPs), which guide all student growth efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each campus develops its CIP collaboratively with staff and parents through a Site-Based Decision-Making Process Committee to identify needs and set goals. Priorities for the 2025-2026 CIPs focus on individual student growth, strong professional development, engaging lessons and interventions, and ongoing school improvement initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CIPs align with the District Improvement Plan, the North Star Goal, Graduate Profile, and Strategic Plan.
