Must have a Texas Teacher Certification in Special Education (SPED EC-12). \t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fd0ed1f elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"fd0ed1f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Job Description:<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ed074c2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ed074c2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul>\n \t<li>Teach elementary school special education students (grades K-6).<\/li>\n \t<li>Provide special education students with appropriate learning activities and experiences that will enable them to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth.<\/li>\n \t<li>Teach all courses to students with disabilities, instructing through lectures, demonstrations and audio-visual aids.<\/li>\n \t<li>Work in conjunction with students, parents and other members of staff to develop IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) through the ARD (Admission, Review and Dismissal) Committee process for each student assigned to assist with interpretation of assessment data, appropriate placement, and goal setting for students according to district procedure.<\/li>\n \t<li>Collaborate with classroom teacher on student IEP to ensure all modifications are met and help special education students in regular classes when appropriate.<\/li>\n \t<li>Ensure IEP guidelines are met when presenting subject matter.
