The Office of Records Management makes public information available to members of the public in accordance with the Texas Public Information Act (TPIA).
The Board of Trustees of the RISD designated the Records Manager as the official to receive requests for public information. All requests for public information must be submitted writing. RISD will respond to each request in writing in the manner required by the TPIA.

To obtain a copy of a student record (e.g., transcript, attendance records, special education records, etc.) please complete a Student Records Request Form below. The form contains instructions for completion. You may submit the form via U.S. Mail or via hand delivery to the address below.
We are located on the first floor of the red brick RISD Administration Building, which is east of Central Expressway on Greenville Avenue between Spring Valley and Belt Line roads.
Payment for records may be made in person in the Records Management office during office hours or sent via U. S. Mail. We accept cash or check. We do not accept credit card payment. Please make checks payable to RISD.
Regular Office Hours (August through May)
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Thursday
8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Friday
Summer Office Hours (June – July)
7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday
The Office of Records Management observes all district holidays and closures and will not be open on those days.
