TAAS or TAKS Testing
Seeking potential graduates! Do you have all your high school credits from RISD but you were not able to graduate due to TAAS or TAKS testing?
If you entered 9th grade prior to 2011-2012 school year, you may be eligible to graduate due to a change in state law.
If you attended a Richardson ISD high school and feel this applies to you, please click here or go to http://bit.ly/RISDGrad and complete the survey. We will be happy to help find out if you are eligible under the new state law. Please note, this process can take up to four weeks to complete.
If you do not currently meet any of the alternative requirements under the new state law and would like to take the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) end-of-course (EOC) assessment for graduation requirements, you must register for the assessment here.
The following table lists the STAAR end-of-course assessment information for the 2020-2021 administrations.
