Richardson ISD has four learning communities each with its own area superintendent who supports the principals and staff of the elementary schools, middle schools, junior high schools, and high school in that learning community’s feeder pattern.

Our department supports the district’s mission of being a place where ALL can connect, grow, learn and succeed by promoting a learning-centered community committed to instructional excellence in a collaborative environment. Our work is focused on creating rich and relevant educational experiences for all students from Pre-K through 12th grade
To accomplish RISD District goals and objectives, Teaching & Learning provides:
