Science

The Science Curriculum and Instruction team provides TEKS-aligned structure and support that builds on students’ natural curiosity to help them become more sophisticated thinkers.

We provide authentic student learning experiences through hands-on science inquiry. Students practice listening, speaking, reading, writing, and thinking like a scientist to help them draw conclusions and make sense of the world around them. Our team makes safety our number one priority while providing teachers and administrators with on-going professional learning on high quality science instruction. We make science fun with opportunities such as family science nights, school gardening, Earth Day activities, and the Environmental Studies Center trips.
