No. Students must complete an application and participate in summer bridge.
RISD will continue to provide AP courses. The P-TECH Academies provide another option for rigorous programming that our students and families can choose from.

What is P-TECH?
P-TECH or Pathways in Technology Early College High School is a College and Career Readiness Model approved by the Texas Education Agency to help prepare students for their future academic, technical, and work place skills.
Why Join P-TECH?
Students have the opportunity to earn free college credit and recognized industry certificates within their pathway. Students will experience work based learning opportunities tailored to their field of study and leading to future internship opportunities.
