What is an Early College High School?

The Texas College and Career Readiness School Models (CCRSM) are open enrollment programs that blend high school and college coursework to help historically underserved and at-risk students develop technical skills, earn college credentials and degrees, and pursue in-demand career paths

What are the benefits of joining an Early College High School?

In a College & Career Readiness School Model, students can do the following:
  • Earn free college credit
  • Learn from local businesses in a work-based learning setting
  • Receive additional academic support for the college courses in which they are enrolled
  • Earn industry certifications allowing them to join the workforce after graduation
