- Facilitating Learning with Technology – RISD aims to develop positive digital practices. Each year, Instructional Technology researches, revises, updates, and publishes this document to help guide and support teaching and learning with technology..
- RISD uses Classlink for the single-sign on (SSO) dashboard for students and staff to easily access most resources.
- Focus is RISD’s gradebook and supported by the Student Information & Reporting department. For additional information, contact your campus, visit focus.risd.org or reach out to focusinfo@g.risd.org.
- Google for Education. All students and staff have access to Google for Education, including Google Drive, Gmail, and the suite of Google tools. For student safety, elementary school students only have access to email users in the RISD Google Domain
Learning Management System (LMS)
Schoology
RISD students in grades 3rd-12th use Schoology as their LMS to receive and turn in digital assignments. Students also use their Schoology Portfolio to house artifacts for their personal growth goal.
Parents receive information every year on connecting to their student’s Schoology account in order to stay actively engaged in their student learning and progress. This information is typically sent in early September.

This informational program aligns with RISD’s mission and vision, the RISD Graduate Profile, ISTE standards, state and federal guidelines, and TEA’s Technology Application TEKS.
