The Richardson ISD Leadership Development and Professional Learning Department is committed to cultivating strong leaders at every level of the district, including students, teachers, campus administrators, and central office staff. Grounded in the district’s North Star Goal, our mission is to ensure every learner meets or exceeds their growth goals through high-quality leadership and professional learning experiences. RISD believes that high-quality leadership development and professional learning are powerful tools to drive growth. These efforts build the capacity of campus administrators and central leaders to be innovative and adaptive in meeting the evolving needs of our schools and RISD community. By prioritizing leadership growth goals, we aim to cultivate resilience and grit within our leadership teams, equipping them to lead and navigate instructional decision-making and challenges with strength and agility.
