Holiday xPlore
Overview
xPlore, RISD’s elementary after-school care program, offers Non-School Day Care on specified days when school is not in session. During Non-School Day Care, opportunities are given for students to engage with their friends, play and have fun! Students will participate in structured recreational activities, fine art activities and play activities that enhance their overall skill development.

- October 8–9, 2026
- October 12, 2026
- November 2–3, 2026
- January 5, 2027
- February 15, 2027
- March 15–19, 2027

Fees:
- $50 per day for a registered child
- Registration fee is a one time $80
Please be advised that a non-refundable $80 registration fee will apply to each individual xPlore program session:
- Regular School Year xPlore ($80 registration fee)
- Holiday xPlore ($80 registration fee)
- Summer xPlore ($80 registration fee)
This registration fee is assessed separately for each distinct program term upon enrollment to cover administrative costs and secure your child’s placement. RISD employees do not pay a registration fee.
