Summer Programs
Summer xPlore
- Summer xPlore will be offered at MST Magnet.
- Days: Monday thru Friday
- Time: 6:30 am – 6:00 pm
- Dates: June 1 – July 31
- RISD Employees Only: August 3-7
- Summer Activities: Kidokineticsm, TAKEOFF Adventure Park, B and B theater, Teacher Creature, Strike and Reel, Richardson Fire Department, and 11MAX Indoor Park.
- RISD Transportation is only provided to and from field trips.
- Enrollment Fee: $80 Per Child
- Enrollment Fee for RISD Employees: $0 Per Child
- Weekly Rates: $200 Per Child
- Employee Rate: $150 Per Child
Dual Language Two Way Summer Camp (Invite Only)
- Campus: NWHE
- Grade Levels: PK, K, 1st & 2nd
- Time: 11:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Dates: July 12-July 24
- Weekly Rate: $25
Employees Only GROW
- Campus: MST
- Time: 6:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Dates: July 22 & 23
- Sign-up cutoff date: July 17th
- If a student is not registered prior to July 17th, they will not be accepted due to licensed staffing requirements.

Ignite Summer Learning Program
Students invited to attend the Ignite Summer Learning Program may also attend xPlore at their Ignite campus.
Grades: Kinder & PreK
- Campuses: RISD Academy, Dover, ACE, Skyview
- Days: Monday thru Friday
- Time: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
- Dates: May 27 – June 12
- Enrollment Fee: $0 per child
- Weekly Rate: $25 per child
- xPlore does not provide transportation.

Register for Summer xPlore & IGNITE Summer Learning Program
Important Information Regarding Payments and Registration for Summer xPlore and Summer IGNITE
- Please click here for instructions with creating an online account, in Arux, our management system.
- To register for Summer xPlore or xPlore after IGNITE, the student must have been enrolled in RISD for the 2025-2026 academic school year.
- The primary account holder will need to complete the form, sign, and then email to xPlore@risd.org. We will then ask the secondary to sign and return for our files.
- Please do not put an email in for your emergency contacts.
Important - Your student is not registered in this program until you have:
- Received email confirmation from Arux that your contract has been approved.
