Fall 2022:
- RFP and recommendation/action for consultant services – 9/15
- Re-engage the Graduate Profile Design Team and solicit additional community stakeholders to participate on the District Design Team
Spring 2023:
- District Design Team develops Goals & Strategies
- Engage Strategic Action Teams and Develop Action Plans
- Finalize and Adopt Strategic Plan 2023
Summer 2023:
- District Improvement Plan and Campus Improvement Planning for 23-24 school year
Richardson ISD has partnered with enage2learn to provide consulting services to support the development and implementation of Strategic Plan 2023. engage2learn will collaborate with and engage a district strategic planning team, school administrators, school and district staff, and members of the board of trustees. They have documented experience incorporating effective practices and trends working with PK-12 public school districts in the strategic planning process.
Career-Related Programs
Career & Technical Education (CTE) in Richardson ISD prepares all students for the world of work through intentional and meaningful career focused programs of study. Students experience real-world learning environments in all of our industry specific programming. Equipped with the knowledge and technical skills necessary for employment, and the social/emotional capacity to sustain employment, the RISD CTE students are ready for future success in the workforce, college, and civic service.
Additionally, with a dedicated industry and higher education partnership, students in any of the four RISD college and career school models are connected to their future, equipped with industry-relevant knowledge and skills, and are steps ahead of others upon graduation.
