The Richardson Independent School District’s adopted tax rate for 2023 is as follows:
- $0.7931 for the purposes of maintenance and operations
- $0.3500 for the payment of principal and interest on bonded debt of this school district
- $1.1431 total tax rate
The highest rate the district can adopt before requiring voter approval at an election is $1.143101. The election will be automatically held if the district adopts a rate in excess of the Voter-Approval Tax Rate (Rollback Rate) of $1.143101.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 6.55 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $111.68
