Parent University

Please join RISD on the journey to meaningful family engagement.

Parent University is an ongoing program with sessions designed to help parents navigate the school-to-home learning. This year, Parent U will focus on helping parents learn what is being taught in the Connecting Cultures and Social and Emotional Learning curriculums.

On Nov. 30, RISD parents and guardians engaged with the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Department to learn more about Connecting Cultures. Spanish interpretation will be available for Parent University.

Parents also learned more about SEL lessons from the district’s Department of Student Services.

Parent University sessions are recorded and available for viewing on the RISD website.

Previous Parent University sessions can be found here.
