District Planning Committee
Overview

In compliance with section 11.251 of the Texas Education Code, the District has established a District Planning Committee (DPC) that includes professional staff at the campus and central administrative levels, parents, community and business representatives. The committee shall advise the Board or its designee in setting and reviewing the District’s educational goals, objectives, and major District-wide classroom instructional programs identified by the Board or its designee. The committee shall serve exclusively in an advisory role. All applicable federal planning requirements will be addressed through the District- and/or campus-level planning processes.
