Practical Parent Education Classes

Practical Parent Education classes engage and support parents in raising healthy, happy children in today’s complex society.

Alejandra Phillips, an RISD Family Engagement Program Specialist with more than two decades of experience connecting parents with schools, encourages and empowers parents to take a more active role in parenting, school involvement, and their student’s academic success through volunteer opportunities on their campuses.

These classes help families eliminate the achievement gap by bridging the home-to-school connection. All are welcome to attend one of the upcoming classes and teachers, counselors, and principals are encouraged to invite parents to attend the sessions.
