Richardson is Bi-District Champs

Softball Playoffs

UPDATE:

Richardson High School is bi-district champion for the first time in school history and now plays Hebron High School in the area round. The game is Friday, May 6, at R.L. Turner High School in Carrollton beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tickets will be available on Thursday, May 5. The winner advances to the regionals.

The Richardson and Lake Highlands High School softball teams qualified for the UIL playoffs.  Richardson finished in second place in District 7-6A, and Lake Highlands beat Irving High School last week to qualify for the playoffs.

Richardson will play Arlington High School in the bi-district round. The first game will be in Arlington at the Workman Complex on Thursday, April 28, at 6:30 p.m. Game 2 will be at Dover Elementary on Friday, April 29, at 6:30 p.m.  If necessary, the deciding game will be on Saturday, April 30, at Highland Park.

Lake Highlands will host South Grand Prairie High School on April 28 at 7:30 p.m. and then travel to South Grand Prairie for game two on April 29 at 6:30 p.m. If necessary, Game 3 will be Saturday with a specific time and place yet to be determined.
