RISD qualified 5 student-athletes for the state meets for Swimming and Diving. The UIL 6A State Swimming and Diving Meet was held Friday, Feb. 20 – Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026 in Austin.
Congratulations to the 6A State Diving Champion, Michael Evans (Pearce High School) who came in 1st place, and Graham Rittiluechai (Richardson High School) for his 3rd place finish!

- Lily Ruth Scott – Swimming: Qualified in 2 events
- Henry Scott – Swimming: 50-meter Freestyle – 10th place
Richardson High School State Qualifiers
