2021-22 STARS Teachers

STARS graphic

This year, RISD named a Teacher of the Year at every campus. These educators were selected by a local campus committee that identified a special teacher who has made a difference in the lives of learners by exemplifying best teaching practices while also serving as an ambassador for public education. These teachers fully embrace, support, and promote the mission of the Richardson Independent School District where all students connect, learn, grow, and succeed.

Every year, the Richardson ISD Foundation spotlights and rewards the work of a group of these Teachers of the Year who represent Superior Teaching Achievement in RISD Schools. The 2022 RISD STARS teachers were surprised on their campuses on Friday, April 29. Congratulations to these educators who epitomize #RISDGreatness!
