Every year, the Richardson ISD Foundation spotlights and rewards the work of teachers who represent Superior Teaching Achievement in RISD Schools. The 2024 STARS teachers were announced in April.
At The Richardson ISD Foundation’s recent 2024 PROM fundraising event, RISD crowned its Elementary and Secondary Teachers of the Year! Congratulations to Natalie Roefer, a dyslexia teacher at Bowie Elementary, and Keith Tompkins, a social studies teacher at Apollo Junior High School. They will represent RISD in the Region 10 teacher of the year selection process.
