Spring 2025 State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR) results are now available through RISD’s Focus Parent Portal using these instructions:
- Log In to Focus Parent portal
- Click My Child
- Click Child Info
- Click Assessment Rpt Cards
- Scroll to Texas Test Scores section
- Select Click here to go to the Texas Student Portal (available in English or Spanish)
Parents without access to Parent Portal can visit our website for directions to create an account.
Richardson ISD educators review each child’s performance on the STAAR test as one indicator of academic progress. It is one of a variety of academic indicators, along with the Measures of Academic Progress, used by RISD educators to monitor the growth of each student. RISD will continue to use multiple data points to adjust instructional design to ensure every child is growing academically.
