2026 District Teachers of the Year with Superintendent

Congratulations to RISD’s eight 2026 STARS Teachers of the Year! Two STARS (Superior Teaching Achievements in RISD Schools) Teachers of the Year from each learning community were selected from among RISD’s 2025-26 campus teachers of the year and surprised at their schools with the great news and a check for $1,000!

  • Ashley Bouras, Jess Harben Elementary – Update: Ms. Bouras has been named the RISD Elementary Teacher of the Year
