As a service to recent graduates and former students, this message is to notify the RISD community that the school district will be purging student files from storage in accordance with the records retention schedule.
Student records from 2018 and prior that are not to be kept permanently will be destroyed later this summer.
RISD is required to provide notice to former students and allow time for alumni to request copies of their records before the school district sends them for destruction.
Former students have until July 31 to come to the RISD Administration Building and pick up their records. Please contact the RISD Records Management Department for more information.
