The registration period for the three-week challenge started October 19.

In November, RISD physical education teachers will engage students in lessons aimed at promoting better nutrition. Some area restaurants are supporting the event with healthy menu options and rewards for students participating in the challenge.

Sponsored by Medical City Children’s Hospital, the 21-day challenge encourages everyone to eat healthier and be a super snacker. Every day, prepare and eat a healthy snack that contains a fruit or vegetable.
