UPDATED Nov. 13:

Lake Highlands beat South Grand Prairie 42-38 in a thrilling game to become bi-district champions.

The Wildcats advance to the area round to play Prosper High School on Friday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. at Melissa High School’s new stadium.

Lake Highlands tied for first place in District 7-6A at 7-1, but the Wildcats are District Champions and the No. 1 seed for the playoffs thanks to their win over Highland Park. Berkner tied for third place to clinch a playoff spot. 

In the first round UIL playoffs, Berkner played Arlington Martin on Thursday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. at Wilemon Stadium on the campus of Arlington Sam Houston High School. Click here for ticket information.
