Lake Highlands and Richardson are bi-district champs. The Wildcats will host Hebron High School in the area round on Thursday, Feb. 15, at 6:30 p.m.

The Lake Highlands, Richardson and Pearce girls basketball teams all qualified for a spot in the UIL state playoffs.
The Wildcats finished second in District 7-6A, and the Eagles finished third.
Pearce captured the fourth playoff spot and will play South Grand Prairie in the bi-district round on Monday, Feb. 12, at Irving MacArthur High School at 6 p.m.
Lake Highlands will play Arlington Bowie on Monday, Feb. 12, at South Oak Cliff High School at 6:30 p.m.
On Tuesday, Feb. 13, Richardson will face Arlington Martin at Coppell High School at 7 p.m. to start the playoffs.
