Lake Highlands Community Open House

Lake Highlands Learning Community Wildcat

Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey of learning and discovery and walk the halls of LHJH one last time?

Join RISD on Tuesday, March 5, for an open house of the Lake Highlands area secondary campuses. PLEASE NOTE: no tours of the new Lake Highlands Middle School will take place during the open house.

The entire RISD family is welcome to experience the vibrant community, innovative programs, and inspiring opportunities that occur every day in RISD!

The Lake Highlands community open house is the perfect opportunity to:

  • Take a tour of new spaces at Forest Meadow and LHHS and have an opportunity to meet the architectural firm handling the new construction and renovations.
  • Meet dedicated faculty members and learn about RISD’s rigorous academic curriculum, enriching extracurricular activities, and supportive learning environment.
  • Discover the unique programs and resources available to help students excel in their academic pursuits and prepare for future success.
  • Connect with current students and parents to gain insights into their experiences and perspectives on life at Forest Meadow, Lake Highlands Middle School, and LHHS.
  • Get answers to any questions you may have!

Come see recent bond projects and renovations at FMJH and LHHS, or walk the halls of LHJH one final time. At the junior high, community members will be able to look through old LHJH yearbooks and maybe even win a chance to acquire a piece of the old building.

Alumni of Lake Highlands Junior High are welcome to use this form to share memories, ideas, pictures, etc. of their time spent in the building, which first served as a high school.

Pass this form along to anyone who may want to participate in the final farewell. If you have any specific questions, ideas, or requests, please email lhjh@g.risd.org.
