The Cottonwood Art Festival has recognized the top 10 RISD visual artists for the 2024 Emerging Artist Program.

- Kate Dawson, Luisa Lara, Olivia Ober, and Elia Villasenor – Pearce
- Sophia Hufstedler and Max Young – Lake Highlands
- Rachel Cadena, Erin Glasscock, and Ayianna Wooten – Richardson
The student artwork is on exhibit in the mezzanine gallery at the Eisemann Center in Richardson through April. The People’s Choice Award is open for voting by the public and ends at noon on April 16. On Wednesday, April 17, there will be a reception honoring all these artists at the Eisemann Center from 6 to 8 p.m.
