RHS Senior Named National Merit and Presidential Scholar

RHS Class of 2024

Isabelle Agarwal is the valedictorian of the Richardson High School Class of 2024. She is also a National Merit Scholar and a Presidential Scholar.

She was chosen from a pool of more than 15,000 finalists for the $2,500 National Merit Scholarship. Agarwal and the other winners were “judged to have the strongest combination of accomplishments, skills, and potential for success in rigorous college studies.”

She is one of five Texas Presidential Scholars. Students are selected on the basis of superior academic and artistic achievements, leadership qualities, strong character, and involvement in community and school activities.

She is currently an intern at UT Southwestern Medical Center and plans to study science and medical research at Harvard University. Congratulations, Isabelle! #RISDBelieves
