RISD Schools Earn 100+ State Distinction Designations

Congratulations! 30 RISD Schools Earn 101 TEA Academic Distinctions

Thirty Richardson ISD schools have earned 101 state distinctions in the 2025 Texas Education Agency (TEA) Accountability Ratings.

TEA distinctions recognize districts and campuses for their outstanding achievement based on the outcomes of several performance indicators. They are based on performance relative to a group of campuses across Texas with similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.

Campuses earned combinations of the following distinctions:

  • Academic Achievement in Reading/Language Arts (RLA)
  • Academic Achievement in Mathematics
  • Academic Achievement in Science
  • Academic Achievement in Social Studies
  • Top 25 Percent: Comparative Academic Growth
  • Top 25 Percent: Comparative Closing the Gaps
  • Postsecondary Readiness (district and campus)

RISD congratulates the students, staff, and families at these campuses for their dedication to growing every student, every day, as part of our North Star Goal.
