RISD opened the third Child Learning Academy (CLA) this past August and held the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Little Rams and Wildcats Child Learning Academy at Springridge celebration this week. The CLAs have been a big dream of Superintendent Branum and the Board of Trustees to provide as an added benefit for Richardson ISD teachers and staff.
The CLAs provide an affordable, high-quality, and convenient childcare option for full-time RISD employees with children ages six months to three years.
Located at the former Springridge Elementary building, the Little Rams and Wildcats Child Learning Academy provides daycare services to RISD employee children in the Berkner and Lake Highlands learning communities. Little Eagles CLA is located in the Richardson Learning Community, and Little Mustangs CLA in the Pearce Learning Community.
Following the ceremony, guests were invited to take a tour of the facility.
