The Richardson High School girls defeated Arlington Martin this week to become bi-district champs and will play Plano East in the area round on Friday, Feb. 18, at 7 p.m. at Berkner High School.

The RHS boys team finished first in District 7-6A and are currently ranked as the No. 1 team in the nation, according to MaxPreps. The Eagles will face Grand Prairie High School at Coppell HS on Monday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m in the first round.

Lake Highlands finished in second place in the district and will Arlington Bowie in the first round of the UIL playoffs on Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. at South Oak Cliff High School. Please review DISD’s spectator guidelines here.

Pearce also advanced to the state playoffs and will play South Grand Prairie at Grand Prairie High School on Tuesday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m.
