Due to the severe weather forecasted for later this afternoon and early this evening, ALL RISD after-school activities are cancelled for today, Tuesday, April 28. This decision is being made out of an abundance of caution and to ensure the safety of our students and staff.
Additional details regarding specific extra-curricular activities will be shared directly by coaches, program directors, or campus principals.
Parents are strongly encouraged to pick up students at their regular dismissal time.
Students who typically ride a bus should plan to take their regular bus home. Please be aware that bus routes may experience delays due to weather conditions.
After-school care will still be available through the xPlore program; however, families are asked to pick up their students early, IF POSSIBLE, to allow enough time to travel home safely.
