Applications for 2024-25 RISD Ambassadors

RISD Ambassadors

The school district is now accepting applications for the 2024-25 RISD Ambassadors. Click here to apply, and the deadline is June 14.

RISD parents, community members, PTA members, faith-based organizations, nonprofit partners, and area businesses are welcome to apply. (RISD employees are not eligible to apply.) This professional learning series is designed to change the conversation about public schools from the inside out.

Ultimately, the school district wants the community members who graduate as Ambassadors to feel empowered to actively advocate for RISD’s students and staff.

Enrollment is limited to 55 participants with a goal of a relative balance across all four RISD learning communities. If RISD receives more applicants than available seats, a lottery will be used to determine placement.

Session dates can be found here. Participants are expected to attend all sessions.
