UPDATED:

Pearce defeated Boswell to advance to become the Regional Semifinal Champions and advance to the Regional Finals this week.  The Mustangs are one of only 8 teams in 6A to be still playing baseball in the State of Texas. 

Pearce will play Flower Mound in a three-game series:

  • Game 1 at McKinney Boyd at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 30. 
  • Game 2 at Roughriders Field in Frisco on Friday at 7:30 p.m. on May 31. 
  • Game 3 if necessary at Roughriders Field in Frisco at 7:30 p.m. on June 1. 

The Mustangs continue to find a way to win and now face Fort Worth Boswell High School in the UIL Class 6A Region 1 semifinals. Game 1 will be played at Boswell on Thursday, May 23, at 7:30 p.m. Game 2 is set for Friday, May 24, at Pearce at 7:30 p.m., and Game 3 would be noon on Saturday at Denton Guyer High School, if necessary.

Pearce is the Area Champion after back-to-back walk-off wins. The Mustangs now face Arlington Martin in the regional quarterfinals. All games will be played at Dallas Baptist University’s Horner Baseball Field.

Thursday’s Game 1 got rained out and rescheduled for Friday, May 17, at 8 p.m.

Game 2 is set for Saturday at noon or 3 p.m. with Game 3 to follow, if necessary.

Pearce will play McKinney Boyd in a best-of-three series for the area championship. Game 1 is Thursday, May 9, at Boyd at 7:30 p.m. Game 2 will be Friday, May 10, at Pearce at 7:30 p.m., and, if necessary, Game 3 would be at noon on Saturday, May 11, at Allen High School. The Lake Highlands and Pearce High School baseball teams qualified for the UIL playoffs. 

Pearce will play Arlington Lamar in a best-of-three series for the bi-district championship. Game 1 is Thursday, May 2, at Irving MacArthur HS (new location due to recent rain) at 7 p.m. Game 2 will be Friday at Pearce at 7:30 p.m., and, if necessary, Game 3 would be Saturday, May 4, at Irving MacArthur at noon.

Lake Highlands will play Arlington Martin in a best-of-three series with all of the games at Irving Nimitz High School. Game 1 is Thursday, May 2, at 6 p.m. (updated time) Game 2 will be Friday at 7 p.m., and, if necessary, Game 3 would be Saturday, May 4, at noon.
