Lake Highlands Advances to Area Round

UPDATE: Lake Highlands beat South Grand Prairie to advance to the UIL area round and will play Allen High School at Globe Life Field in Arlington on Friday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. Please click here for information about tickets and parking.

First-year Coach Trey Bryant has the Berkner varsity football team back in the UIL playoffs after a 10-year absence. The Rams (4-6, 4-3 District 7-6A) play Grand Prairie High School at the Gopher-Warrior Bowl in Grand Prairie at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12.

Lake Highlands finished second in District 7-6A at 6-1 with an overall record of 9-1, outscoring opponents 483 to 144. The Wildcats host South Grand Prairie High School in the bi-district round of the UIL playoffs at Wildcat-Ram Stadium at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12.
