To apply for a place on the May 2, 2026 ballot, RISD residents may obtain an application packet by completing this form. The packet will be emailed to the address provided by the applicant. An election packet may also be picked up at the RISD Administration Building located at 400 S. Greenville Ave.
- The first day to file to be on the ballot is Jan. 14, and the deadline to file to be on the ballot is Feb. 13by 5:00 p.m.
- The deadline to file as a write-in candidate is Feb. 17 by 5:00 p.m.
- The current terms of Single-Member District 3 and At Large Place 6 will expire in May.
