Bond 2021 Projects

At the August 21 Board of Trustees Work Session, staff shared an update on the final Bond 2021 Construction projects, which took place this past summer. The following projects were all completed by their projected timeline and within their respective budgets:

  • Hamilton Park Pacesetter Magnet: This $10 million project included a new connector addition with a history wall and auditorium lobby and restroom upgrades. The project also included comprehensive interior finish upgrades which included new flooring, lighting, wall tile, painting and magnet graphics at the corridors, classrooms and cafeteria.
  • Northrich Elementary School: With a budget of $10 million, this project involved comprehensive interior finish upgrades which included new flooring, lighting, wall tile, and paint at the corridors, classrooms, cafeteria and gymnasium and a complete renovation of the multi-user restroom. The scope of work also included a new front entrance with new landscaping and canopy that was completed last summer. 
  • Stults Road Elementary School: This project, which had a budget of $10 million, involved comprehensive interior finish upgrades which included new flooring, lighting, wall tile, and paint at the corridors, classrooms, cafeteria and gymnasium and a complete renovation of the multi-user restroom. The scope of work also included a new front entrance with new landscaping and exterior signage. 
  • Career & Technical Education (CTE) Programs: With a budget allocation of $3 million, these projects supported the development of specialized learning environments to enhance hands-on training opportunities. Key initiatives included the construction of Cosmetology Labs and Mini Salons at both Lake Highlands High School and Berkner High School, as well as a Veterinary Medicine and Grooming Lab at Lake Highlands High School. Designed to provide real-world experience, these student-led programs will be open to the public.
