Proposition C - $7,400,000 Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Turf Upgrades at the Two Largest Stadiums
Due to the occupancy numbers, stadiums are also required by law to have a separate proposition.
The Wildcat-Ram Stadium at Lake Highlands, shared with Berkner, and the Eagle-Mustang Stadium at Richardson High School, shared with J.J. Pearce, would both receive updates
Proposed projects include:
Stadium Upgrades
- ADA seating upgrades
- Cost-effective LED lighting upgrades
- Turf replacement
The turf at both facilities was last replaced with funding from the 2016 bond and is nearing the end of its lifespan.
This proposition does not propose building new stadiums — only upgrading these two existing ones.
