RISD Board of Trustees Single-Member District 1 and At Large Place 7 will be on the ballot on Saturday, May 1.
Candidate packets are now available, and prospective candidates can obtain one via email by completing the request on the district’s website at risd.org/bot or at the RISD Administration Building during normal office hours at 400 S. Greenville Ave. in Richardson.
The first day to file for a place on the ballot is Wednesday Jan. 13, and the deadline to file is 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12.
In January 2019, the RISD Board voted to move to a 5-2 electoral plan with five single-member districts and two at large representatives.
